We review brands that people are searching for, asking about, or considering spending money on. Some are household names, others are newer companies worth a closer look. We are not paid to add a brand to our list.
What we look at
For each brand, we work through the same checklist:
- What it is and how it works. A clear explanation of the product or service, in plain terms.
- Pricing. Real, current prices and plans, not vague ranges, so you know what you will pay.
- Pros and cons. The genuine strengths, and the honest drawbacks.
- Customer complaints. What real users say went wrong, pulled from public reviews and reports.
- Alternatives. Other options worth comparing before you decide.
- Our verdict. A straight summary of who the brand is right for, and who should look elsewhere.
Where our information comes from
We use official brand websites, public pricing pages, verified customer reviews, news coverage, and other publicly available sources. When a detail matters, we check it against more than one source. Prices and features change, so we note when a review was last updated and revisit it when things move.
How we stay independent
This is the part that matters most. A brand cannot pay us for a positive review, a higher score, or the removal of a complaint. Our income comes from advertising, which is kept completely separate from what we write. If a specific review ever includes an affiliate link or a sponsored element, we disclose it clearly on that page.
A note on accuracy
Our reviews are researched carefully, but they are for general information only. Details change, experiences vary, and what suits one person may not suit another. Always check the brand’s own website and do your own research before you buy or sign up. If you spot something out of date or incorrect, tell us at contact@brands.run and we will fix it.
